From foundations to code
I’m a Java developer who spent the first chapter of my career in construction strategy, governance, and finance — then retrained and now ship backend systems.
That mix still shapes how I work: I like clear structure, practical solutions, and teams that communicate directly. I moved into programming because I wanted to build, not only plan — and I still treat every new stack as something I can learn fast.
Today I work at Zentity in Prague on digital banking for Nedbank Namibia, and also for eSwatini and Lesotho. Until January 2025 I was on the AVO backend team, building avo.africa.
Outside product work I sit on the Supervisory Board of Nadace Neziskovky.cz, and I still enjoy side experiments — including a slightly crazy personal chatbot on this site, and a Turbo Pascal 3D editor I first wrote in 1995.
